INERIS places its wealth of experience and its scientific and technical knowhow at the service of the French government and both private and public sectors in order to guide them in their actions with regard to safety and protection of health and the environment.

This support leads to, in particular, the provision of study and consulting services. In the field of air quality, INERIS is a major player in France supporting the implementation of the air quality monitoring strategy, developing and hosting the national air quality forecasting and mapping platform, PREV’AIR, building and managing environmental databases and conducting technical and research studies to support institutional and industrial clients within the European framework.
