UEA - University of East Anglia - Climatic Research Unit
The Climatic Research Unit (CRU) is a research centre in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich. The school was graded 5* during the last national Research Assessment Exercise.
At present, CRU is composed of around 10 research staff and three postgraduate students. Over the last 30 years, CRU has gained a worldwide reputation for the study of climate, climatic change, the impacts of climate change and applied climatology. It has provided Co-ordinating Lead Authors for all four of the IPCC Assessment Reports (Working Groups I and II).
