CNRS - Viovy Nicolas

Nicolas Viovy (Laboratoire des Sciences du l'Environnement - LSCE) is an experienced researcher in vegetation and phenology modelling. Hired at LSCE in 1993, he is one of the main contributors to the ORCHIDEE vegetation model used by more than ten groups around the world. Recently he worked on modelling of pollen emission and is the coordinator of the pollen allergy and climate (PAC) project funded by the Paris Climate Consortium. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles on remote sensing, vegetation and phenology modelling.
